Go Negosyo Women's Entrepreneurship Summit

I am an avid follower of Go Negosyo. I have always respected Mr. Joey Concepcion ever since I bought the first book, then newly released "50 Inspiring Stories".  I admire his vision and passion for leading the Filipinos towards the path to entrepreneurship and guiding them by giving away big events like this - for free!
Last March 8 2010, I had the luxury of time to visit World Trade Center with my good friend MC. I don't feel very well that day, but since I really want to be at the event, I grabbed myself up and headed our way to hustle bustle city of Pasay. It was indeed a hot hot day!!!

Upon arriving, we were welcomed by crowds of people - human traffic at its worst! PGMA was also there, my first glimpse of her...err, no comment...

There were speakers whom I've already heard before and of course the Go Negosyo hosts themselves. I had a fun time listening to Gladys Reyes. The event also feels like a free concert! They had Ms. Pilita Corales, Pops Fernandez, Eric Santos and La Divas. I felt good seeing one of my respected entrepreneurs, Ms. Gaita Flores. It was nice seeing her upfront.

The summit was a success! I guess it was a proof that today, many more Filipinos are open to the idea of Entrepreneurship. I like that! But the most important thing is, I was able to inspire my friend more to discover her passion for business and to follow her heart. She started a soap business days after the summit.
